I Hate Brown Grass and Frigid Temperatures
When I got out of bed this morning, it was 12°; it is still 12°. The Weather people were predicting some snow or maybe even ice, but there is none. This is a rip-off. Why have frigid weather without the prettiness of snow? Even ice is okay. If the weather is going to be miserable, why not have it all? It's like it being always winter with no Christmas, I tell you.

When I got up this morning it was -8 degrees, with a windchill of -25.
We got some snow yesterday, but it came after we got a quarter inch of rain, and now the snow is only covering up the layer of ice that is on all of the roads.
I don't know - 12 degrees with no snow sounds failrly dandy to me.

Me, too, I can't stand brown grass or frigid temps. Or naked trees, although I enjoy seeing sunsets through the lacework of the bare branches.
Ya'll come visit me in Richmond, It was cloudy, but 71 here today!
