Cool Photo Template

I've been teaching myself some basic web design the last few months and set up my congregation's web page. It's so low-tech I've decided this was intentional. It reminds me of the good old days: 1995.

But the photo gallery is pretty sweet. Take a look over there and click on a few links to the galleries. Using Google's Picasa, I simply saved existing pictures as an html file, using a template I downloaded from this site, and uploaded that file to the web server.

It's pretty cool.

Its a nightmare Christopher. Don't do it! It'll all end in tears. Get a man in.

    I LOVE IT!

I am the old woman who put together our parish website and I fear it also shows my age and lack of html savvy...and that would NOT be on purpose. I am tempted to do as you but I have been using photobucket slide shows and don't have the courage to switch to piccasso yet...although I just may do that some day as I do love some of these referenced templates.

Frankly, I have always thought that photos make the site. People love photos. I also have a couple of YouTube videos on our site; one is the video that we sent out last year as part of a fundraising campaign and the other is a local favorite of our Greek dancers dancing to Zorba. These things are quite fun...but the rest of the site lacks similar pizazz. Oh well...one day my Frontpage app will stop working and they'll have to get a real webmaster.

Anyway...GREAT find and thanks for the tip.
